Test Types

The suites AMI can run, from unit tests to load and data checks.

AMI plans tests across every suite you enable. Suites group by what they exercise: your code, your UI, your API, or your data.

Code and UI

  • Code: unit and integration tests.
  • UI: end-to-end, regression, smoke, visual, cross-browser and accessibility tests.

API, security and data

  • API: contract tests for every documented endpoint.
  • Security: auth flows and input fuzzing.
  • Performance: load tests against the running app.
  • Data: data integrity and migration checks.

Enabling suites

List the suites to run in your config. Fewer suites make faster, cheaper runs; AMI never runs a suite you leave out.
